With Summer 2021 coming to a close and Fall on the horizon, Thorntree Dallas representatives took this opportunity to throw a “pawty” for some fun in the sun. The event was based off the term Dog Days of Summer by combining dog-loving designers and outdoor networking for an unforgettable evening. This creative event took place on Wednesday, August 11 at the Mutts Canine Cantina in Dallas, Texas.
Mutts Cantina accommodated our guests for Yappy Hour with frozen bark-aritas, dinner, and a tail-wagging good time! This location is a dog-friendly restaurant and off-leash dog park where dog moms, dog dads, and their four-legged friends joined together with our representatives, Amber Reddick, Catherine Atkins, Dayana Gomez and Keegan Rae to talk about Thorntree materials and all things dog related.
Open since 2018 with two locations in Dallas and Fort Worth, Mutts Canine Cantina was the perfect outdoor space to host designers and their best friends. Thorntree reps set up displays on picnic tables with the canine approved Les Origines Or large format porcelain, binders full of inspiration, and custom organic Thorntreats for the dogs. Lily the Yellow Lab was ecstatic to be involved with her mom, Amber, on the job by modeling with the materials and making friends on the patio.
Franchise Times says “Dallas-based Mutts Canine Cantina provides ‘a unique urban oasis for dogs and their owners,’ complete with Adirondack lounge chairs, picnic tables and HD TVs. Separate off-leash dog parks—one for smaller dogs less than 30 pounds, one for larger dogs—can be accessed with a daily, monthly or annual pass, though the restaurant and beer garden are open for all.”
