April 17-April 22, 2018

Like fashion week in Paris, Milan Design Week attracts thousands of people form across the globe to see and learn first hand about the upcoming trends in design.  From couches to cuisine, teapots to tiles, Milan Design Week is an action-packed adventure for the senses!

Thorntree recognizes the importance of staying on trend in the ever-changing industry of interior design and architecture.  So many new products are introduced every year that it is impossible to see them all, let alone know about them and speak with knowledge on them.  It is for that reason we send a team every year to go see products first hand, talk to vendors, and learn the features of each.

This year, we have the good fortune to have several associates from Faulkner Design Group, of Dallas, Texas, accompany us on our trip.  In addition to spending time at the exhibits, we will be touring the Florim Ceramiche factory to see the production of large format 6mm and 12mm porcelain slabs.  Experiencing fabrication in real time is fascinating, and makes it easy to see and understand the quality of product being made.

We know it’s rough going to Italy in the Spring , where dining al fresco is requisite, but all that aside, it really is in the best interest of our clients that we stay informed so that we are able to pass along the best information to you.

Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we introduce some of the newly released product lines!

Ci vediamo! We’ll see you soon!
